Walking In The Word

2 Peter 1 (4-5): Whereby are given to use exceeding great and precious promises that by these yet might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust and beside all this, giving all diligence add to your faith

Faith + Virtue = adding virtue to our faith in Christ = an attribute that leads to a failing Christian life

When the woman in Mark 5:25 touch Jesus virtue came from him to her and her disease was healed (Mark 5:30)

In Matthew 9:22 says: And the woman was made whole from that hour. What did the master have that we can have or must have to be like him Matthew 10:24 tells us.

The disciple is not above his master or the service above his Lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master; and the disciple as his Lord (Matthew 10:25)

So, virtue is goodness, righteousness, morality, integrity, dignity, honor, decency, nobility, respectability, worthiness and purity.

These are some of the precious jewels that through Christ we add by faith and love for him.

2 Peter 1 (5-11) has been a real blessing in my life. As we study it, let it bless you.

He’s coming soon…
