God has a greater insight into His nature and desires. If we just ask, the parable of the different soils can help us to grow spiritually.
The first soil spoken of is the wayside. This refers to people that hear or read something from God’s word but do not understand it. The Devil comes and takes it because it can’t be rooted.
Next stony ground is where you understand but because of the persecution you quit. Then the enemy comes and steals it.
This is followed by thorny ground, the word begins to grow but because of the cares of this life, materialism, the enemy is allowed to steal again.
All of these can be changed to good ground by allowing God to sift your life and remove all the things not pleasing to Him. You then start as a 30 fold Christian with the potential to become a 100 fold.
God will help you change your ground so you may be able to grow or mature to really be the Finest Christian you can be!
