God Will Provide

In the 22nd chapter of Genesis, we read about Abraham’s sacrifice of his only son Issac.

He was told to go to the land of Horriah and sacrifice his son on one of the mountains he would be shown. On the third day, Abraham saw the place afar off;

Verse 5: And Abraham said unto his young men, abide here with the ass (donkey) and I and the lad will up yonder and worship and come again to you.

Abraham said I’m going to come through this trial. I don’t know what God is going to do, but I know what he promised. So he says I and the lad will go and come again to you.

Has God promised you something? Obey the Lord for that step of obedience may be the key to complete deliverance. You might not know, or see God’s provision but as surely as the ram was in the bush. Your provision is there. Your answer is there. Lift up your eyes and he will be your Jehovah Jireh.

Bible Verse of the Day
