I looked at my clock. The time was 8:30 am on Wednesday, August 17th. I can finish my household duties and be off at 9:30 for Wednesday morning prayer at our church at 10 am. My eyes cloud with tears and my mouth with thanksgiving and praise to our God who is able and faithful.
I think back to August 10th – it was on a Wednesday, too – at 5 am when my right hip wasn’t responding to my efforts to rise out of bed at the time I would rise to pray. Somehow, I got up and went to prayer. This day – Wednesday, August 10 is one I won’t likely forget.
In seven days, God raised me up and healed my hip from a pinched sciatic nerve in my right hip. I was able to walk in the church for 10 am prayer. What a God we serve. Nothing is impossible!
